We, as the Kamakura-based local wholesale market, deal with locally made vegetables.

Our market has a history of more than 90 years.

We have been serving as "the kitchen of Kamakura."

We wanted to make it known to everybody that the locally made vegetables in our market can be found nowhere else.

In order to distinguish our vegetables from the ones in other markets,we asked Mr. Watabe to file trademark application of "Kamakura Ichiba Brand (Kamakura Market Brand)."

Mr. Watabe said the registration might be difficult because it includes the name of the place "Kamakura."

But it's meaningless if our trademark does not include "Kamakura," so we asked him anyway.

He was right and we received Office Action.

"Kamakura Ichiba" has the history of 90 years and it is like our company name.

So we asked Mr. Watabe to respond to the Office Action.

As a result, "Kamakura Ichiba Brand" was registered.

Thanks to the supports and efforts of Mr. Watabe, our brand was registered successfully.

We have established the Brand Certification Committee and the Certification Guide of the "Kamakura Ichiba Brand."

"Kamakura Ichiba Brand" is certified more strictly than ever.

It is valued highly and covered by media many times.

As we are proud of the "Kamakura Ichiba Brand,"

We made an entry into Food Action Japan Fan Award.

Our brand "Kamakura Ichiba Brand" received an award.

A lot of major retailers ask us to carry vegetables of our brand.

Major department stores and speciality supermarkets will display items having our brand logo.

We will protect the logo mark and the "Kamakura Ichiba Brand" as one of treasures of our company.
