It's been eight years since we launched Kamakura Medical Cuisine Academy.

We have always been thinking about what we should do to make Kamakura Medical Cuisine Academy widely known.

One day, I found the concept of "branding", when I was reading a magazine.

I thought it was a good idea.

I thought branding might contribute to confidence, credibility and persuasiveness.

It was at this moment when I first thought of trademark registration of "Kamakura Yakuzen Academy" (Kamakura Medical Cuisine Academy) and "Wa no Yakuzen" (Japanese Medical Cuisine).

So we visited Mr. Watabe in Shousei International Patent Office.

Please have a look at these textbooks.

These are original textbooks of Kamakura Medical Cuisine Academy.

As we have created them all, we took them for granted, and we did not realize their values at all.

Mr. Watabe made us realize their values.

We were pleased to hear him saying that "Ms. Yamauchi, these textbooks you created are really valuable."

He made us proud of the work we have done, the work that may be passed to the next generation.

Our trademarks were successfully registered and we use these trademarks in all our publications.

Intellectual property is very important for our work, and trademarks contribute to improve our brand strength.

Registration certificates are framed and hung in front of the entrance.

These are very important for Kamakura Medical Cuisine Academy, proving the confidence, credibility and persuasiveness of our academy.
